Waves of Peace Counseling Services provides a non-judgmental approach to help clients build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they would like to achieve.
We offer a complementary set of methodologies and techniques to provide a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. Some of these methodologies consist of the Family System’s approach and the Cognitive Behavioral Therapeutic approach. The ultimate goal of Waves of Peace Counseling Services is to help clients navigate through situations in a healthier manner, whether it is coping with life transitional stages, or more challenging topics such as depression or anxiety. All of these topics are important and can lend to the need for extra support.

Karma Brownlee Limon
President & Founder – LMFT #48142
Karma has 25+ years of therapeutic experience.
Karma graduated from UCI with a BA in Psychology and Social Behavior. She then graduated from CSUF with a MS in Counseling with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy. Karma was also trained by UCD in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which helps people work through traumas/PTSD. Lastly, Karma has a 2-year certificate from Cottonwood School of Ministry and offers Christian Counseling upon request.
Karma has worked in the non-profit and private practice industry for many years in a therapeutic capacity. She has extensive experience with many types of struggles that people are working through such as anxiety, depression, PTSD/trauma, child abuse, ADHD, Oppositional defiant disorder, and much more. Furthermore, she has worked with severely emotionally disturbed youth and their families providing counseling services. Karma has worked with individuals, couples and families for many years.
Lastly, Karma has many years of experience supervising therapists and directing therapeutic programs.

Lillian Ament

Lillian has 30+ years of therapeutic experience.
She has a BA from Biola University in Education. She has a MS from CSUF in Counseling with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy.
Lillian has had many years of experience working with children, teenagers, and their families. She has worked with many behavioral concerns and has had a range of experience using various therapeutic techniques to help people through these concerns.
She also has worked with individuals and couples helping them through the challenges they face in their everyday lives to come to a resolution in a way that affects their lives positively.
Lastly, she has been working at Waves of Peace Counseling Services for many years working with a range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, parenting skills, and much more.

Tina Logan

Tina has a BA in Clinical Psychology from the Union Institute. She has a MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University.
Tina has gained therapeutic experience working with children, families, adults and couples. Tina specializes in grief & loss, relationships, personal issues, work concerns, and parenting skills.
At Waves Of Peace Counseling Services Tina has worked with individuals, families and couples. She has worked with depression, anxiety, relational issues, trauma, parenting skills and more.

Mary Redoutey

22+ years of therapeutic experience
BA in Communications from CSUF. She also has a MA in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco.
Mary has had experience with a variety of ages from children to adults conducting individual, couples and family therapy. She has worked with a wide range of diagnoses such as Depression, Anxiety, Autism, Addiction, Grief issues, Oppositional Behaviors and more in her past experience before she came to Waves of Peace Counseling Services.
At Waves Of Peace Counseling Services Mary has worked with individuals, families and couples. She has worked with depression, anxiety, relational issues, trauma, parenting skills and more.

Waves’ Associate Therapists
Our associate therapists are mental health professionals who are working towards full licensure.
They have a master’s degree in either counseling, social work, psychology etc. and have completed a number of hours of supervised clinical experience.
These therapists are able to provide a variety of mental health services including individual, couple, and family therapy.
Our Associate therapists are supervised by one of our licensed therapists to build and enhance their skill base.

Siavash Shakeri

Siavash has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Irvine in Psychology. He has a Master of Science degree from the University of Southern California in Social Work.
Siavash has experience working with addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, and much more. He has spent time working with children, at-risk youth, adults, and families. Siavash uses Evidence-Based practices in order to assist individuals and families in working through their problems and developing healthy relationships and boundaries.
Siavash is supervised by Karma Limon, LMFT whom has over 24 years of therapeutic experience.

Devin Fenton
Associate therapist – Apcc #12058
4 years experience.
Devin holds a Master of Science degree in rehabilitation counseling from Western Oregon University, where he received training to provide counseling as an associate professional counselor. Devin also holds Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of California, Davis.
During his undergraduate education, Devin studied psychology and contributed to research for a publication in neuroimaging with applications for dementia research. Following graduation, Devin provided counseling utilizing clinical interventions to underprivileged clients and those struggling with acute mental illness for several years. In graduate school, Devin worked with students of all ages providing counseling and also did assistant teaching.
Devin is offering sessions as a registered associate clinical counselor (APCC) under the supervision of Karma Limon, LMFT whom has over 24 years of therapeutic experience.

Laura Shube
Office manager
Laura has a BA in Psychology from UCLA. She has a MA in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University.
Laura Shube, as office manager, is usually the first contact with clients and helps navigate appointments with the therapists. She helps clients establish the method of payment they would like to use whether they are paying out of pocket or using their insurance company.
Laura is a fantastic asset to our team.
